This model of a tent was inspired by the 19th century sketches of former tents from Russia. This shelter is made from an impregnated cotton of approx. 340 g/m2 density with anti-rain and anti-mold properties.

Its design and inner construction (based on a frame made of wooden bars) are similar to so-called soldier triangles from the 16th-20th century period (available in our assortment HERE).

However, it stands out by finishing with a characteristic top. Near the decorative black & yellow tapes it has two ornamental decorations.

Tent dimensions: 1.9m (length) x 2m (width) x 1.8m (height)

A set consists of:
- 2 bars (27 mm phi, 1,85 m long), finished with pins
- a crossbar (27 mm phi, 1,8 m long)
- 14 tent pegs + 2 spare pegs
- 2 wind ropes with with loops on endings (3 m long)
- 2 carved wooden decorations on masts

The inspiration for our historical replica

Our Russian tent is similar to the model of shelter used by the foot soldiers of Russian army from the Napoleonic Wars period. It is inspired mainly by the sources presenting the Battle of Borodino from 1812.
