Bigger version of the historical Kleindurst glass (available here!), similar to a beer glass. This vessel is made from a high quality glass of light green color, decorated with a plant ornament entwining it downwards.

Grossdurst is a vessel narrowing to the bottom, ending with a rounded foot. It’s surface is covered in tiny bubbles.

Glass is dedicated for containing various cold drinks: wine, beer, water, juice, etc.

Grossdurst means “big thirst”.

Medieval craftsmen took great pride in decorating their work. One of the common ways to decorate drinking glasses was to put knobs (or bumps) on them. This also served to make the glasses less slippery, and less likely to be dropped when used. Our handmade glasses with knobs are modeled after glasses used in the later part of the Middle Ages.
