Well fitted to the trunk, with gores starting from the level of loins. Fastening at front consist 15 tin buttons, reach the crotch. Made of 4 pieces + sleeves & gores, woolen fabric with linen lining. It is laced up on the sides. With 7 tin moulded buttons per sleeve in standard version.

A cottehardie is a fashionable 14th century garment which was well-fitted to the figure, buttoned at the front and on the forearms. Sometimes a cottehardie had a decoration on a sleeve (a tippet). A woman's cottehardie was very similar to the man's version in its form.
