Medieval belt bag is made of natural, vegetable-tanned leather of 2 mm thickness, machine sewn. The bag is closed up with moulded brass buckle. Its dimensions are 25 x 17 cm (without tunnel).
This historical bag can be worn on the belt by both women and men. It has a special tunnel (ears) to pull the leather belt through.
The medieval belt bag, available on our website, is a simplified version of a "peasant's butt" bag. It has a slightly different shape than inspirations from 14th and 15th century, but remains fully functional and matches a late medieval clothing.

Colors to choose :

Medieval bag is available in several colors, so you can match it to your historical outfit:
- black
- red

- natural

Essential for reenactment:

The bag is an indispensable part of the medieval reenactor's costume. It is helpful in keeping small items safe. Shape and quality of this leather medieval bag ensures long use and usefulness for years.

Inspirations of the Middle Ages:

An example of a medieval bag can be found in National Museum of Art in Catalonia. There is an altar from 1st half of 15th century, made by Bernardo Martorell. This altar was originally in the church of Sant Vicenç in the Spanish town of Menàrguens.
