A long medieval gambeson perfectly combines low weight, high mobility and historical look. Our medieval pourpoint will be a great choice for reenactors looking for a gambeson which will be convenient and based on historical sources.

Our long medieval pourpoint was created for the most demanding users.This pourpoint has vertical stitchings on whole length, both on torso and sleeves. It reaches the knees and it is tied with an overcast stitching in the front. This medieval pourpoint also has a collar which is buttoned up on a side. Our medieval pourpoint is made of linen with linen lining.

Another material used in this model is a new filling - woolen felt of two levels of thickness:
- average on chest - Y7b;
- thinner in rest of medieval pourpoint - Y7a.
More information about thickness you can find here.

This design ensures a good amortization and mobility when used with a proper type of armor.

The cut of this pourpoint provides the user with high mobility. It has a new sleeve pattern - so called inverted elbow. This lowers the possibility of lifting up the pourpoint during wearing and does not hinder the movement. This combination makes it working as a pourpoint for historical reenactment and for knight fighting.
